  Who can use e-tax-file ?
 
  • The e-tax-file is currently available for all provinces or territories (except Quebec). Therefore, the residents in those provinces or territories can use e-tax-file. 

  •  
  • From the list of the tax forms and schedules included in e-tax-file below, you may find what kind tax return you can prepare. For example: Business Income (T2124), Professional Income (T2032), Self-employed Income (T2124), Foreign Income Verification Statement (T1135), Real Estate Rentals (T776), and etc. 

  •  
  • Not certified for returns which incorporate AgriStability and AgriInvest program (T1163, T1273).

  •  
  • Generally, e-tax-file is an easy-to-use software. However, the basic computer operation knowledge and English read ability to understand tax explanations are required.

  • For those who have a special tax return requirement, you may need to obtain the professional assistance.
